We build one of these tools, so read this with that in mind. What we have tried to do is make the table true: real prices from real pricing pages, dated, and a blank where a vendor will not say. Where a competitor is the better buy, we say so on their page.
The one thing to check
Almost every tool in this category gates AI engines behind a higher tier. Profound's $99/month plan tracks ChatGPT and nothing else. Knowatoa's $59 plan locks four of its seven engines behind a $199 tier. Otterly charges add-ons for Gemini and Claude. Writesonic advertises ten engines and sells three on self-serve. Before you compare sticker prices, find the tier where the engines you actually care about turn on — that is the real price.
